On June 3, ProLegal announced its No. 18 ranking on the 2026 Inc. Regionals list for the Pacific. In that same announcement, the company said it was already setting its sights on the Inc. 5000 and coming for it with full force.

"I came to America from England when I was 12 years old, and one of the first magazines I ever bought was Inc.," said Patrick Babaian, CEO and Founder of ProLegal. "It was the Inc. 500 back then. I decided two things looking at that list. That I would always own my own businesses, and that I would be on that list one day.

"I started my first company at 14. A web hosting and website design company, built over a dial up modem, back when almost nobody knew what the internet was going to become. I have started and sold more than 15 businesses in the 32 years since I bought that magazine. This is the one that got me on the list."

Sixty nine days after that promise, it is done.

ProLegal debuted on the 2026 Inc. 5000 at No. 585 in the United States on 615% revenue growth, ranking No. 11 among all legal industry companies in the country, No. 31 in the Los Angeles metropolitan area and No. 94 in California. It is the company's first year on the list.

Of those four numbers, the one that matters most is No. 11.

The national rank of 585 places ProLegal in the top 12% of the fastest growing private companies in America. Los Angeles at No. 31 is a strong result in one of the most competitive business markets on earth. But No. 11 in the Legal Industry is a measurement against every other private legal company in the United States that grew fast enough to make the list at all. Ten are ahead of ProLegal. Thousands are behind it.

ProLegal did it on the first attempt.

615% is worth translating. It means the company closed the measurement period generating more than seven times the revenue it opened with. There is also a detail in the dates. ProLegal was founded in 2018, and the Inc. 5000 measures 2022 through 2025. This was not a startup's opening surge off a standing start. It was an established business multiplying itself.

More than 15 companies across three decades usually predicts a founder who builds, sells, and moves on. Babaian says ProLegal is where that pattern stops, and the reasoning is not sentimental. It is the scale of the opportunity, and it is the difficulty of the work. Consumer funding, transportation logistics, law firm branding, website design, marketing, and live operational support. Four businesses, four regulatory profiles, one client base, across four countries in progress. He describes it as handing him a genuinely new problem every day, and says several new products already in the pipeline will launch this year.

That ecosystem is why the growth happened, and it is built around four connected solutions rather than one product finding a market.

ProLegal Funding provides consumer legal funding, also known as pre-settlement funding, to plaintiffs waiting on a settlement. ProLegal Rides handles transportation for clients who need to reach appointments and appearances. ProLegal Growth is the branding, websites and marketing growth engine built exclusively for law firms. ProLegal Live operates as a full extension of the law firm, and the firm decides how far that extension goes, from intake alone to substantially more of the case workflow, backed by live support around the clock.

Each solves a real problem alone. Together they form something that does not currently exist anywhere else in the legal industry: a single connected ecosystem spanning technology and consumer funding, serving the same client base, under one roof.

The Inc. 5000 debut is ProLegal's third recognition from Inc. in 2026. The company was named to Inc.'s Best Workplaces 2026 in the Legal Industry category, a program that measures workplace culture and employee experience rather than revenue. It also ranked No. 18 on the 2026 Inc. Regionals list for the Pacific, covering California, Oregon, Washington, Hawaii and Alaska.

Three honors from the same publication in the same twelve months, measuring three different things. Growth nationally. Growth regionally. And what it is actually like to work here.

That third one is not a coincidence, and it is not a consolation prize.

Companies that multiply seven times over in three years usually pay for it in culture. Teams burn out. Turnover climbs. The people who built the thing are gone before anyone gets to celebrate it. ProLegal was recognized as one of the best workplaces in the legal industry in the same year it posted that growth.

"This award is not about me. It is about the team we have built over the past few years," Babaian said. "We hire differently. We look for passionate people who want long term stability and a career they can actually grow into, not a stop along the way. Culture is everything here, which is exactly why Best Workplaces in the same year means every bit as much to me as the growth ranking. Everything we do and everything we build starts with our work family in mind."

Expansion into Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia is actively under way.
